About Dave Matthews Band Dave Matthews Band is an American rock band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1991. The band's founding members are singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer and backing vocalist Carter Beauford, violinist and backing vocalist Boyd Tinsley, and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. As of 2026, Matthews, Lessard, and Beauford are the only remaining founding members.

ABSOLUTELY
This was a step on the stairway to my heaven
YES!!!
I’d drive 4 hours to see this again
MAYBE YES.
It’d have to be closer and not crazy expensive, or a date-night.
JUST MAYBE.
If I could get discounted tickets and free parking, I’d consider it.

It would have to be free to me… and close-by.
NO WAY.
This was time I’ll never get back. You’d have to pay me to go to this.
