The band formed in Boone, North Carolina. Rainbow Kitten Surprise's sound has been influenced by artists such as Modest Mouse, Kings of Leon, Frank Ocean, and Schoolboy Q.

ABSOLUTELY
This was a step on the stairway to my heaven
YES!!!
I’d drive 4 hours to see this again
MAYBE YES.
It’d have to be closer and not crazy expensive, or a date-night.
JUST MAYBE.
If I could get discounted tickets and free parking, I’d consider it.
MAYBE NO.
It would have to be free to me… and close-by.
NO WAY.
This was time I’ll never get back. You’d have to pay me to go to this.
