About The Lumineers The Lumineers are an American indie folk band formed in Ramsey, New Jersey, in 2005, and now based in Denver, Colorado. The founding members are Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites ; cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek joined the band in 2010, and was a member until 2018. The Lumineers emerged as one of the most popular folk-rock/Americana artists during the revival of these genres, their popularity growing in the 2010s. They are known for their energetic live shows and several international hit singles, including "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia", "Angela" and "Cleopatra". The band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States and is also popular in other countries.

I did love the show. FYI, it was really impossible to understand the vocals in terms of actual words (glad I knew the words). My husband said it was how the vocalists were miked (too bright?). That part was disappointing since the lyrics are so important in your body of work. Hey Ho is still my ringtone , though 🙂

Tour is WAY over produced. All the emotion from the music is boiled off and what’s left is just soulless corporate singles.

Absolutely amazing live!!! Honestly, I think they sound better live then on album. They have so much energy and really connect with the audience. The singer explains some of the meanings of his songs and his experiences with them. They got in the middle of the crowd to make such a big stadium a little more cozy- it was just FABULOUS! Ugh, I'd go again any time they are in Cincinnati :)

Honestly, the Lumineers is not the kind of band I would see every year if I had the possibility to do so. The problem is that the sound exactly the same live and on their albums in my opinion. This, along with the huge arena venues they play in, makes the show feel like I'm listening to a record with 20,000 other people: impersonal. It's just not the kind of band you dance to with the crowd, for instance. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time, but a more intimate setting (though, judging their popularity, I don't think this will happen) would be much more appropriate. One thing I did like: the singer and songwriter Wesley often interacts with the audience, and explains the personal stories that inspired the songs. He was on the brinks of tears when he told us that Long Way From Home was about his father's fight (and eventual demise) against cancer. These stories make you look at the songs in another light. Another surprise: Neyla (the cellist) has an amazing voice! They should give her a more prominent singing role. All in all, 2.5/5

" When it comes to high tempo, high energy stompers, you can't go wrong with these three funsters from Colorado. As usual, they went quite early with the big one (""Ho Hey"") and Wes continues to encourage an actively engaged audience (over one watching through a camera lens), which leads to a far more attentive audience; indeed, by the big finish, there wasn't a man, woman or child who wasn't completely in to it. The new album, being only 33 minutes long, proved easy to learn, with large swathes of the audience seemingly knowing most of the words to most of the songs, which again only added to the atmosphere. The trio of ladies (""Cleopatra"", ""Angela"" and ""Ophelia"") all went down well with the crowd and the ""Stubborn Love"" finale was 10ly Luminescent. Outstanding fun. "

"Totally worth going to their concert! I really appreciated it when the lead singer has to stop mid-song to apologize and tune his guitar. I also love his small anecdotes before some of the songs, and here I thought I could not love the songs more than I already do, but knowing where he got the inspiration from writing the songs made them absolute gold. And then I guess he noticed most of the audience were recording the show, so he made a deal with us where we are allowed us to film Ho Hey and then we were to put our phone away so we can fully enjoy the show. And everyone followed him! I did not see anyone using their phone, at all! (except the woman in front of me every now and then, but still) All in all, they are definitely one of their favourite bands now. The other members are really amazing too! P.S. I loved how their shirt are recycled. "

" I was thoroughly dissapointed. It was my first time seeing the Lumineers and I was very excited. In all honesty I think the venue was far too big for the band. I love their sound and songs, but the gig just lacked atmosphere :( From what I could see the majority of the crowd were stagnant and did not know the music (typical in London imho). My advice? (not that it's worth anything). Stick to smaller, intimate venues. "

Love the Lumineers music and was so excited for this concert. Didn’t care for the two opening acts that took up two whole hours of the show. Then the Lumineers were amazing, of course, but had dark and disturbing videos playing in the background. The stage setup was super neat. The videos, while maybe realistic, left you feeling depressed.

" The Lumineers. I flipping love this band so much - they feel so authentic and their concerts do not disappoint. The acoustics were amazing, their voices were amazing, and their musicality was amazing as well. As is common with some musicians, a band's musicality doesn't always translate to live shows. But their performance was incredible. It felt like I was sitting in their recording studio, watching everything transpire. They have this incredible ability to envelop you in their lyrics, and if possible, you feel it more live. If you are ever on the fence with The Lumineers, commit and see one of their shows. Listen to their albums, the lyrics. If I was a commit-free adult, I would go to every show on their tour. They're that good. "

Amazing concert. One of the best I've ever been to. Engaged the crowd and really made it feel like an intimate experience in such a big arena. They sound even better in person. Can't wait for them next time they come to town.

They were AMAZING live! I knew they would be. The only downside was the venue, but we got lucky and had a great view from one of the balconies. I'd give them FIVE stars, but this app won't let me.

Best concert I've ever been to. They are so active with the crowd. They sound so so freaking amazing live. Wish I could go to the other 2 concerts near me. Next time they come I'll buy tickets in a heartbeat!!!

Saw the Lumineers before at Soldier Field opening for U2, and they were great. The Allstate Arena is closer to our house than going into Chicago, so I thought this would be fun. It was my first time at the Arena; it’s definitely a hockey rink first and the sound system wasn’t great. The Lumineers probably benefited from U2’s sound system the last time I saw them. If it was just a few instruments it was ok, but when the whole band played, the sound was very tinny and harsh. In contrast, I had gone to a free jazz concert at the Northbrook Library the night before to see the Eric Johnson trio, and the sound & overall performance of that performance filled me with a lot more joy than this show that I spent a lot of money for and had been looking forward to for awhile. Not going to the Allstate Arena again for a concert.

Love the lumineers but didn’t like not having my phone. These are memories we are making and I couldn’t capture it during the concert. Other than that it was phenomenal!! Thanks for a great night and see you tomorrow in Chicago at the music festival!!!

The Lumineers did an awesome show! Vocals were adulterated by a horrific sound system. Static galore. Fuzzy voices. Does Allstate think people will buy tickets for their venue a second time after they’ve suffered the lousy amplification and bad acoustics? I won’t!

Bridgestone is always busy but the venue was clean and there was enough space to get where you wanna go in a reasonable amount of time. The Lumineers’ show itself was beautiful. And I don’t use that word lightly. From the HUGE velvet, color changing curtain to the vibrantly lit screens, this show looked like it stepped out of the Gatsby era. I’ve been to several cool shows, but this one was mesmerizing. Sometimes I had to remember that I was there to hear them sing! Great Job guys! (Mt. Joy on the other hand has several lighting problems. But sounded great)

The show itself was awesome!!! I brought in an empty 16oz water bottle and had to throw it away bc it wasn’t clear. It was a see through yellow bottle. Really?!?! I followed the bag restrictions and thought I was okay bringing in bottle. I understand the rules but u can still see through it!!! I don’t think this was fair!

The concert itself was great and the artists entertaining, BUT the acoustics in Bankers Life Fieldhouse was TERRIBLE. It was so hard to understand the words being said/sung and the music sounded harsh. If they are going to continue offering large concert events at Bankers Life, then maybe improvements need to be made.

The Lumineers were excellent! The stage show was impressive and the sound quality as always was spot on. I was not impressed by the first opener, he never announced who he was, all his songs sounded the same, and his crowd interaction was all but none. My. Joy also was excellent! The seats at the Allstate Arena are too close together and not very body accessible for many people.

We really enjoyed the Lumineers. They give a high energy show that engaged the audience. The warm up bands Mr. Joy and JS Ondara, were very good, as well. The acoustics at the Allstate Arena were ok for the instrumentals. A lot of the lyrics from all three acts were very difficult to understand, and the chatting with the audience by the Lumineers was hit or miss. The seating also was pretty cramped, so there was a lot of getting up and down to let people down the rows.

Lumineers tickets were outrageously expensive in Chicago (isn’t everything though?) So for roughly the same price as tickets alone in Chicago, we were able to get a hotel room *and* tickets in Grand Rapids, and make it onto a mini vacation! Bonus: the hotel connects to the concert venue so no dealing with parking, traffic, or driving home after a late night out. The concert was INCREDIBLE!

back in 2012 I saw the lumineers and they were opening for old crow medicine show. that concert was wonderful and this was also an amazing concert, everything was super clear sounding and the band was very interactive. the only thing that sucked was the venue, they controlled the whole situation and it was hard to get where you wanted. towards the end it was great because they didn't care where you sat/stood, overall an amazing experience that I'll never forget

"A band full of charm, presumably at the height of their creativity and still unspent in their joy of playing. The only downer is and probably always will be with all bands who perform in the Verti Music Hall: the location is not really convincing, somehow such a middle thing between the club atmosphere as in the ""Astra"" or ""Lido"" and the stadium giantomania of the Mercedes-Benz Arena. But that wouldn't be so bad if there weren't beer in ONEWAY PLASTIC CUPS (!) at 5,50 €/0,5 L.! Hey guys, in what time do you actually live? You don't have to go out on Fridays for future to get an idea that this might be a little bit stoneaged and quite irresponsible. As long as that doesn't change, I will give only one star less even if it would be for the most fantastic concert of all time. To all bands in the world: don't book any locations that live behind the moon!!!"

The Lumineers were amazing! Venue was disorganized and basically crap really!! Ticket said show started at 7:30 pm but the band was 3 songs in and the line outside was two city blocks long...if we didn't cut in line we would have missed the main reason we were there! I would say to the members of that fantastic band to stay away from such corporate venues, they are so much better than that!

" Went to see the Lumineers at O2 Brixton last night. I was well familiar with the venue and like it. Standing for the young folks and seating for the ones that do not need to be smashed in a human jam sandwich to enjoy the concert. The warm up act was ..... well lets just say that we are not running out to buy the album and the name already slips my mind. The doors opened at 7. The Lumineers appeared at 9:10 and were promptly off the stage at 10:40. No encore performance. The music was incredible but crowd interaction was totally minimal and they were done after just getting started. This was a sold out show and unfortunately I did not get tickets at the normal price so felt a little cheated but at the end of the day, these are truly talented musicians who perform really well. "

I am a big fan of the Lumineers & was really looking forward to this show! Last concert was such a spiritual experience & I was hoping my parents (who were joining me this go round) wld get a similar much needed vibe. Sadly we were all highly disappointed because the sound system was worse than horrible. We even splurged for good seats on the lower level but was not worth the investment. The Lumineers r great entertainers but not being able to hear clearly was a huge bummer!

" The Lumineers and Revivalist were great as well as all the other groups. Loved the sound quality as well as stage production of all the groups. I will definitely seek out other groups that will be playing at the Forest Hills stadium. I loved the intimate feeling the stadium provided. It was also very easy to get to by public Transportation and easy access into the stadium. The Lumineers were truly fantastic. I totally enjoyed the entire experience. "

" Watching The Lumineers and BØRNS was the best thing I have ever experienced! Let me tell you, I have very low self-esteem, and usually I get really nervous being with such a huge amount of strangers, but when the music started to play, I didn't even care at that point because all of it was just SO FREAKING AMAZING!! And I have been the other concerts, but NOTHING compares to that concert. Everyone should go see them at one point or another!!! You won't regret it!! "

" Best concert of my life! I had been waiting 5 years to see the Lumineers and they did not disappoint. Got there at 10 am to wait in line because I was in pit and wanted front row, and the band sent us out special gifts for being so supportive. Having Rayland Baxter and Børns play was extra special and it was a night I'll never forget. Just got VIP tickets to see them again in KC MO and I hope I get to meet my favorite people this time. Thank you Neyla, Jeremiah, and Wesley for getting me through rough times and good times. See you soon "

" This concert was amazing. Even thought they have only released one álbum they still manage to have real fans and the best things about only one álbum is you know every song. But they surprised us with new songs for a coming album and also when Wesley Schultz got down from the stage into the middle of the crowd of fans and played about 2 or 3 songs there. Also... Closing the concert with a ""big parade"" song divided in two different rhythms was incredible. Overall amazing sound, voice and vibe from this upcoming group. I hope to see them soon when they come back to Mexico. "

" The most incredible concert! The lumineers are my favourite band, so I'm writing from the viewpoint of someone who knows all the words to every song! But even if you don't, the way the band interact with the audience and tell a story through their music is just amazing. On this tour I saw them at barrowlands in Glasgow and the usher hall in Edinburgh and the atmosphere was great in both. When you're in the audience you just know that you share the same love for their music as everyone around you and it's magical. In Edinburgh they managed to get the whole usher hall quiet and perform two songs without any microphones which they had never tried before but worked so well. The songs are powerful and most of them fairly slow, so it's not a raving concert to go to smashed and dance the night away, it's one to appreciate and to go to with your closest friends to enjoy some incredible music. "

" Wow. What an amazing show. It's such a cool experience to find a band in obscurity, and know they will soon be famous. That's how is was when I discovered the Lumineers in 2013...and they have only gotten better. Last night's concert was exactly why they are what they are. Original songwriting, perfect accompaniment, and the feeling and sound of a band that you met early that hasn't left their original sound. It is such an amazing experience to me, to find a band that you love...and just a few short years later they are headlining. When I stood in that audience, and listened to everyone sing lyrics along to every song....it's such a surreal experience. Wes even made a point during the show, to mention how they started in people's living rooms, and that they like to get closer to their audience. They proceeded to leave the stage, walk through the crowd and play on a smaller stage, mid-crowd. Absolutely amazing concert. One of the best I've ever been a part of. I can only say thank you to the band for such an amazing experience. "

" I have never seen The Lumineers in concert before and I love their music so I was excited to finally see them. They came to the new Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land. I have never been to this venue before and I liked it. I will definitely be going back. The concert actually started on time, which was very surprising to me and I liked that very much. Susto was the first band to come out and play for us. I had never heard of them, but I enjoyed their music. Next was Kaleo, which I had never hear of either, but turns out I did know one of their songs. I really enjoyed seeing them perform. Finally, The Lumineers came out and it was great. They totally knew how to put on a show. They gave us back stories to the songs ""Gun Song"" and ""Charlie Boy"" that I did not know and I appreciated that. They talked to the crowd, told us how much they appreciate the fans, played all the songs the fans know, and even went into the middle of the audience to play a couple songs. I would definitely recommend people to see them because it is so worth it. I am very happy that I got the chance to see them. I left the show not wanting it to end. "

" It was a lot of fun getting to experience this eclectic music genre. I love classic rock, folk, blue grass, and the blues. The Lumineers seem to be a blend of all 4 genres that I find very appealing. I loved their mourning of not doing house parties anymore so they came out and as middle of the audience they could and they sang a couple of songs. That is when we got to hear Neyla's voice on it's own. WOW! she has an asset they are under utilizing. Next album they need let her have more solos and add this dimension to their portfolio. I especially love her cello playing and this is exactly why I love the Lumineers, I realized last night. The cello gives their music that something unique that makes them great. Wesley really needs to get humble and acknowledge better what she contributes. Without her they would be more run of the mill. Also then maybe she would look happy to be doing what she is doing. Come on guys her smile is beautiful and charming so make her smile more! Not that the rest of the band isn't very talented...it is just the extra special difference and talent needs to be honored that has put them on the world stage. -From a 58 year old who still like to hear new music genres "

" I was introduced to the music of the Lumineers through one of my children who is now 20. On hearing this group for the very first time and then listening to their first album, I was taken aback with the exceptional talent and originality of this band. Their sound is utterly unique, which is an incredibly hard thing to achieve with all the talented musicians of the current day and also of past years. These three young musicians have made their own trademark sound - which is easily recognisable as ""their"" music. For me, the lyrics of their songs are ""deep"" and intellectually superior to most lyrics of songs that we are all used to hearing. At the time their music is upbeat and, once heard, is not forgotten. Their music has intense energy! If you are familiar with the Lumineers' music, then you will understand my appreciation and fascination with this band. The vocals are intense and strong - and appealing for all age groups. I went along to the London concert with my sister and my younger daughter (age 14), and they had a great time at the concert. The Lumineers poured their heart, soul and energy into their performance and their passion for what they have created could be clearly seen. These three young, attractive and gifted musicians have everything that makes them stand out from the crowd. I am confident that this very special band will continue to develop their great music and grow further in popularity to music listeners not only in London but throughout other countries. If you ever have the chance to listen to the Lumineers or get tickets to one of their concerts, don't pass up the opportunity - you will be hooked!!!! "

" First off, The Lumineers are one of my all time favourite bands. Watching them live was an amazing experience! The atmosphere they created in the small cozy venue made it feel like they were my friends playing up there, as if once they were done we could all sit and have a conversation. Their music in general makes me feel like this; it makes me feel at home. Because they have only released one album, you could tell everyone knew every single song, which is always the best at a show because it felt as if the audience was so connected through it all. What was even better, was that the artists up on stage were feeding off of this community vibe to perform in a very honest kind of way with such passionate energy. They were so comfortable with everything it made their music even more personal to me. At one point they even stopped playing to ask if everyone could put their cameras down and simply enjoy the moment and be with them in the music. And at another point during the show the lead singer (Wesley Schultz) stepped off stage, walking around the small crowd, to talk and sing acoustically with no microphones or anything electronic for a song. It was the most amazing experience I’ve had in any show, everyone crowded around Wesley listening to the purest form of music. I’d highly recommend going to a Lumineers concert. Some seriously amazing band members who are very real, truthful, and down to earth. Not to mention, their music has the most balanced mix of instruments and lyrics that make you want to pay attention to every word. I’m really not just saying all this. I’m a real person who can honestly say the Lumineers’ concert was one of the best ones I’ve ever been to in my life. "

The Lumineers rocked. They had almost everyone on their feet the entire show. Played old and new songs, great light show, and got the crowd into their music. When the audience sang "Ho Hey", it was really something special to hear. I would go to see them anytime they are in the area. And I would suggest anyone who likes folky, rock music to go see them. Thank you Lumineers. It was a great show.

Considering the weather was awful before the show. They did an incredible job getting the show to start. Bummed we didn't get to see first bands. The Lumineers were awesome. Hearing My City of Ruins in Asbury Park was amazing. You could tell how much it meant to them to cover that song in that town. The crowd, not so great. If you only want to go hear one song, don't talk over all the others. Just stay quiet. You will hear some great tunes. Great band, great show that deserved better.

The band were genuine, came across as happy to be performing and were definitely as good as advertised. Their interaction with the crowd was one of the best I've experienced. Very happy to have seen these live! Only downside was the ridiculous prices at the venue: 6 euro for a beer, and 4 euro for a locker is extortionate. However, this has nothing to do with the band, who were just fantastic.

they filled the entire sprint center with love and happiness and they even came out on a smaller stage in the middle for a couple songs and it was just really beautiful and safe and good.

The band were absolutely amazing! The support were also brilliant! Honestly it would have been the best concert I’ve been to if there weren’t two middle-aged men in the row in front talking loudly during the entire thing (I mean really, the tickets were almost £40. They paid £40 to go into a loud place to TALK and drink overpriced beer when they were in GLASGOW where they could to the same thing in a damn alley for free)

I’ve been waiting for this concert for almost a year now. No one comes around Little Rock, Arkansas, so I have to drive if I want to see anyone of importance. Well, this was the best decision I’ve ever made. Mt. Joy was the main reason that I decided to drive over 5 hours, but the Lumineers absolutely CRUSHED this concert. Wesley and the gang were amazing. I would do it again ten times out of ten.

It was an amazing show, the music was wonderful, the band came out into the audience so they felt so close. They played ALL of their music, and the set was spectacular, they had music videos to go along with the story telling of their songs. The band was very grateful for their fans, and very genuine! We arrived during the second opener the seating was not the greatest because the actual seats at Allstate arena are TINY! The show put on by the Lumineers was absolutely spectacular the sound at the venue was amazing. I absolutely love all live music and have been to some of the biggest shows but this concert was the cherry on top. I’m recently sober (30 days) and had no idea this band supported recovery the way they do. Also them matching each dollar to help the homeless can only pull at your heartstrings. Been listening to this band for years and after seeing them once I have decided I have to see them every time they are In town. Went to the Friday show and was very close to going to the Saturday show as well. Go see them you will not be disappointed!!!!!

We went to the event center and parked in the on site parking lot for $25. When we went through security and checked out tickets it was very simple and then we went on without night with out complications. Show was breathtaking!! amazing performance by an amazing heartwarming band.

I broke my kneecap two days before the concert and am in a brace that keeps my leg fully extended. I chatted with customer support the day before the show and they said they did not have any ADA seats that I could switch my tickets to. I showed up to the concert on crutches with my dad, knowing I might not be able to attend because I couldn't fit in the seats with my leg extended, nor could I stand the whole time. Not only did the Rosemont police help us register our car so we could park in a handicap spot, as soon as we got to our ticket area and I showed the employee my mobile ticket, he took one look at my leg and asked if I wanted better seats. I explained that I reach out and was told no ADA seats were left, but he talked to someone who talked to someone else, and 5 minutes later we were sitting in the ADA area. My leg was comfortable and my dad and I were able to enjoy an amazing show. Thank you!!

It was my first live show of theirs and I enjoyed the mix of their previously released music and III. However there were those around me that didn’t feel the same that obviously hadn’t listened to the new album and didn’t get it. It is a different sound but I’m a lyrics person and The Lumineers have always been a storytelling band so with this album the stories just got darker.

Yet if it is easy to respect the Lumineers for their accomplishments then it was harder to truly love the actual performance, even if the crowd there were enthralled by every vocal cry. It was difficult not to feel a sense of the familiar as yet another song progressed towards a clomping bellow of a climax, and there was little satisfaction in that. A cover of Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues” followed the same pattern, and although Schultz tried to provide context and backstory to some of the material, with “Gun Song” referencing his father and “Leader of the Landslide”, like all of “III”, rooted in addiction, there was a homogeneity running through the set that drained any emotional heft from it. No matter the situation or inspiration, joyous or heart-breaking, it seemed a safe bet where each song was going to end up.
