About The Who The Who are an English rock band formed in London in 1964. Their classic lineup (1964–1978) consisted of lead vocalist Roger Daltrey, guitarist Pete Townshend, bassist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. Considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, their contributions to rock music include the development of the Marshall stack, large public address systems, the use of synthesisers, Entwistle's and Moon's influential playing styles, Townshend's feedback and power chord guitar technique, and the development of the rock opera. They are cited as an influence by many bands, particularly those in the hard rock, punk, power pop and mod genres. The group were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

They deliver every time and work really hard at what they do. Daltrey's voice is top notch and Townsend grafted like hell. Last time I'll see them though I think. Still the greatest live rock band I have seen. At 73 years old the energy they put in is incredible.

I haven't seen them in 15 years. This show reminded me why they're on of my favorites. Roger Daltry still has the best voice in the business. Pete Townsand still is a master with the guitar..Almost three hours of rock history done to perfection

Rogers voice was great but doesn’t really have that rock n roll vibe anymore. Pete still can rock out. Unfortunately the crowd was a bunch of boomers who only wanted to sit so I had to stand in the aisle to fully enjoy the show.

Daltrey and Townshend are still fit as ever considering their age, but the concert was nothing like the high energy, microphone twirling and guitar hand swaying of even a few years back. Still was awesome to see two legends, but they quickly played the hits and then left. Not even an encore. Shame!

Really a fun show. Townsend may be better now than in his youth. An amazing guitarist. Daltrey's voice is still a unique instrument in its own right. However, age is taking its toll on those vocal chords. The orchestra was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised how good the concert was. The sound in Xcel was amazing.

Concert: T-Mobile Mariners Base Ball Park in Seattle, 19 October 2019. The roof was closed, the stadium has open air walls in the backfield, which allowed the friged October air to flow into the stadium. I was sitting on the 2nd Floor, midway between 3rd Plate and Home Base. The view was great, I like the seats. The concert started at exactly 7:30 PM. with Liam Gallagher, the opening band. Never heard of him before, didn't really care for the music, but the much younger crowd in the stadium were chanting his songs. I think the Who came on an hour later. The music was great, but the sound system absolutely sucked. From where I was sitting, the music coming through the speakers was to loud, and distorted. I kept thinking, can't they hear that, the sound quality is awful. We stayed until 10:00 PM, we left early because it was getting simply to cold for us to stay any longer. No more open air stadium concerts for me during Autumn or Winter. Burr.

I was totally disappointed. The reason being this. The Who probably are in top 10 classic rock bands i was totally disappointed when they had a orchestra play with them. There music wasn’t built using a orchestra violins, cello etc. This was absolutely the worst show i have ever seen. Orchestra doesn’t belong playing in a group that has been around 50 plus years. Absolute bomb..

"The Who have to be the greatest live band ever. Even watching the Pete & Roger in their 60's is an incredible thing. You can't take your eyes off Townshend and they play with such passion. I count myself incredibly lucky to have seen them and probably think of the experience every day! I'd rather have watched The Who than the Zep reunion last year. "

Excellent show! Great crowd too. Roger fluffed his lyrics during pinball Wizard, but other than that it was a flawless show and proof that rock 'n' roll attracts better and more civil crowds than the country shows

The Who rocked hard for 2 hours ,a fantastic show ! I sat by several people that never saw them and they were amazed! I thought Roger Daltrey was back in top form vocally from his throat trouble .

The concert was a mixture of orchestral, acoustic and rocking out. It was the first night, it started out a little shaky but it came together after a few songs. Roger's voice sounded great and so did Pete. Interaction with the crowd was good and loved the acoustic Won't Get Fooled Again with the whole crowd singing.

Good performance overall, they did most of the popular songs and some. Orchestra was good. The sound clarity was not very good at all, neither was the stereo effect. I sat up the middle of the event and did not get much stereo effect as hoping from The Who! Their left and right speaker sets were too close together and above the stage and did not notice any other surround speakers anywhere. They also had too many lights blaring at the audience. For a big name concert like this I expected a much better sound experience and show.

"Disappointing and over-priced Wembley was half-empty (at best), and having chairs on the pitch is crazy for such a big space. What atmosphere the Kaiser Chiefs were able to create was sucked away by a slow and labourious set from Eddie Vedder. The Who lacked their famed energy and the whole event felt like a bad wedding. A less ambitious venue, and some realistic Marketing would be a better option for a well deserved pay day."

Fun evening at The Who - T Mobile Park (Mariner Stadium) with my good friend Mike Monson. Little cold, saw a lot of down coats and hats. If you haven't heard of The Who they are considered one of the top 4 most influentual rock bands of all time alongside The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Led Zepplin. They were part of the British Invasion. Google it. Ian Gallagher of Oasis opened up. Pretty good. The Who played most of the set with a massive orchestra that was local from Seattle Symphony. I could have done without it. All I need is Pete Townsend tearing up the guitar and Roger Daltry singing the hits. Like they have for 50+ years. Good show. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fame joined in for a song. Pretty cool. The Who played 22 songs. Ended with Baba O'Reilly. Pretty epic. Solid Saturday evening of classic rock.

"The show started RIGHT on time and was great. Joan Jett was incredible and sounded great. The Who were also outstanding considering there age. Besides Rodger not being able to hold notes as long as i'd like all in all they can still rock. Not to mention Pete's ability to make everyone in the audience laugh between songs. The Who are still the god fathers of punk despite their age and i would recommend. 4/5 "

"Had a brilliant time, however, I will say despite the atmosphere, the acoustics (mainly referring to new orchestra which was beautiful) were far too loud and overpowered the amazing vocals of The Who to the point we were lip reading and singing our much beloved songs. This, I presume, will be rectified as was an error and again, still fabulous atmosphere. Also, we were sat far from stage and camera work for projector screens....must do better. Roger was swinging his mic on stage whilst we're watching bottom of drums/member of orchestra reading music notes. All in all, amazing but that's because it was The Who, if they make minor changes in sound levels going forward it will be best ever concert guaranteed! "

"The Who in San Diego was fantastic as anywhere. I sat in the ninth row and we had waited for this concert eight months from a cancellation. They played all their classics as usual.only thing I was surprised that they didn't come back and at least play one song at an encore. It might be because Roger is taking extreme caution with this Maurice not doing more than eight. Saw the show! Had an amazing time! Orchestra was fabulous. I almost cried at the sound the Tommy Overture. Reign on Me was jaw dropping. Whole show was incredible. This was my 8th time seeing The Who and it was just as good as the first!

Many songs were not played including my generation, magic bus, squeeze box, and more. Still a great show venue sucks as parking is $50.00 and $100.00. Were in Ohio not Beverly Hills or San Francisco

Great show but terrible venue. 2nd concert I’ve been to at Amelie Arena and the acoustics are truly awful. Makes everything an echoey noisy jumble. But it is a Hockey Arena after all. Never again.

"This show was Super awesome. Pete Townsend is spectacular! Never disappoints. Best guitar player in the world! They played songs from several albums. The entire orchestra played beautifully. T-mobile stadium is cold in the fall, but when the music started it warmed right up. "

The show was great! The venue at TMobile was absolutely horrible! I'm disabled and sat on the floor (green) and they didn't have bathrooms available close. They had to ask several people and said that I could use the dugouts bathroom with an escort. It was freezing cold, so many people left due to the cold. If they served coffee or hot chocolate it would of been barrable. The echo that Pete Townsend brought up also was bothersome. Not a venue for concerts when the top is closed.

The show itself was great. We also got to hear from 1 part of Oasis and from Eddie Vetter. We heard all the great Who songs except Magic Bus. We also got to hear from the Seattle Symphony. They did really well. Acoustics weren't good. Lots of songs were scratchy and loud. Also they an hour late getting on the stage because of technical problems. This wouldn't be a problem except Mariner's Stadium is open air with no protection from the 46F weather on the sides of the building making it a strain against the cold to finish the concert. If the weather had been better I would liked it more. Jon Entwhistle and Keith Moon are dead so I am glad I finally got to see Roger Daltry and Peter Townsend. Parking was a ripp-off. It posted 15 dollars on the sign to the Mariner's Parking garage however my receipt said 50 dollars. I checked with my credit card, Yep it was 50, not 15. As I said the Who aren't going to be with us forever so I"m glad I got to see them before they go.

So happy to be able to see and hear The Who perform. I know they were always known as the loudest band in rock, but I thought the mix at the Bowl Thursday was jumbled from the decibel level put out. Roger's vocals got lost much of the time in harmonics produced by the excessive volume. Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart concert was just right, the Who too loud. But I enjoyed seeing them and the staging was great. Kudos to the orchestra too.

"They started the Philly show with a number of songs from Tommy, and then proceeded to play their hits and played a few of their new songs off their forthcoming album. Roger Daltrey may not be able to hit the notes like he used to but Pete Townshend is awesome as ever! I missed John Entwistle as I absolutely love Boris the Spider. The traveling violinist and Celloist were amazing along with the symphony orchestra that joined them on stage throughout their performance. "

"It just does not get any better. The Best. Hope they keep going. We will travel to see these great artists again and again. The best group on the planet as far as I'm concerned. Second to none. After adding Zac and Simon, they have not missed a beat. Saw them in AC with Zac's God-Father in the late 70's. Will continue to support them and Teen Cancer for Life. New Album will be incredible. Will try to see them again on their incredible tour and journey. "

The venue was not great for the acoustics. It was also chilly. We were disappointed The Who did not play more of their hits and no encore left many wanting more for the price of admission.

MSG 9/ 1/19 - an Other-Worldly experience, especially "Tommy" backed by Orchestra. Genius of Pete Townsend and the Who, hearing Rock Opera the way it's meant to be heard. French Horns (Tribute to John Entwhistle) incredible. Keith Moon infused in Zak Starkey, mind blowing. YAY!

Roger and Pete, Your show in Tampa transported me back to a time in the mid-seventies when I saw you for the first time with Keith and John, Later with Kenny Jones on the kit, You sounded as good if not better in 2019 as you did all those years ago. "Saw the legendary rock band The Who at Citizens Bank Park last night. Despite retaining only two of the original members, the remaining duo of lead singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend make a triumphant return to performing on stage. The Who is known for brilliantly incorporating rock music to storytelling and last night's concert featured a full orchestra. The rock opera Tommy is how I will always remember The Who. While the band itself has created so many hit songs from My Generation to Won't Get Fooled Again to the all time classic Baba O'Riley, to me, The Who's most notable contribution to music and pop culture is their magnificent rock opera opus Tommy. The concert felt cinematic, like we are stepping into a motion picture. It's a moving, profound experience which is quite unique from other rock concerts. While most rock bands entertain by playing everybody's favorite hit songs we listen to on the radio or on jukeboxes, The Who does something a little bit more bold. The Who's concert is telling a story. A story about Tommy, a deaf, dumb, and mute young man who is trying to find his way in this world. Who is trying to find his voice -- and along the way, he realizes he is destined for even greater things. We are not just spectators to a rock concert -- we are drawn to his world and are part of his journey. But even once that portion of the concert is over, I felt as if we were still on a journey with Tommy as he experiences his own spiritual awakening. That journey reached it's apex with the beloved classic Love, Reign O'er Me. How we yearn for the rain to come pouring down so that it can purify us and cleanse us of our sins. And that even the worst of sinners still yearn for and deserve love. Daltrey commands the stage with a still powerful voice and stalwart presence. But the concert belongs to Pete Townshend. The stand out moments are the acoustic performances with Townshend's guitar solos. The strumming, the picking, the coordination, the technique -- Townshend is a master guitarist rivaled by very few artists"

When your zoom and focus start malfunctioning at the beginning of THE WHO’s farewell concert 🤦‍♀️, you just got to get a little creative with the footage. If you’re on acid, you’re gonna love it. 🧪✨🤩😉 The band hasn’t lost its brilliance over the years and Roger found his voice again (thank goodness) after it went out at a show in Texas. "Great concert! I saw them back in the '80s and they always seem to keep themselves relevant! I was sitting about 4-5 rows behind a group who was really having a great time - almost like it was their first concert! So that was really cool! I also noticed that it wasn't just my generation - the folks I saw were from 18-80, so that was really great to see. Great to see them together again!"

"Legend is an often used and very difficult description to live up to. The Who have clearly earned it. However, even over 50 years in, they also keep justifying it, by managing to keep old songs sounding fresh, with subtle tweaks and a new visuals. The between song banter, is refreshing and convivial, like hearing from an old friend. If you get chance, see them, before its too late (I mean if they retire, silly!!!)"

"The who rocked Honda Center on May 22. I had seen The Who twice before. Once at the Los Angeles Coliseum over 30 years ago and the recent Quadraphenia Tour in Las Vegas. They had more energy on stage and look like they were having the most fun ever. They played all their great hits spanning the 50 years of rocking the world !!!!! I had the privilege of seeing them three times in my lifetime. I would highly recommend anyone getting a chance to see them one last time to do so . You will not be disappointed. Long Live Rock and Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

"This was the fiftieth anniversary tour of The Who. I was lucky enough to have seen them 50 years ago as a wide eyed lad of 10 when they were the opening group for The Hermans Hermits. I have seen them a good half dozen times since over the years. Truthfully, one can never tire watching Pete Townsend. He still is amazing! There were a number of jokes by Townsend about getting old, and while he isn't jumping in the air, he is still doing guitar windmills and playing amazingly. It is truly special seeing them everytime. If you are lucky enough to be able to get seats, then I advise you not to miss the opportunity. Talking bout my generation."

"I almost didn't get into the show. After we went through security and they were ready to scan our tickets, I didn't have mine. I panicked first. I walked out of security where we were in line and there was my ticket on the floor being walked on. This was the most amazing Who concert I've seen. Roger Daltrey hasn't aged one year. His voice is stronger than ever before. I got the chills listening to him. Pete has slowed down but still a great singer and showman. They played so many of their classics. Also they were so personable with the audience. Like any concert this was much to short. The Who lives on and I hope they come back to Minneapolis real soon. "

"I've seen The 'OO in 79, 80, 82, 94, 95, 07, 12, 13. As they plan their 50th anniversary tour for spring of 2015, I recommend anyone who loves classic rock to see them. They still had their original energy of the 70's when I saw them last tour. Often they will pull out more obscure songs for the hardcore fans but you can expect amazing renditions of family radio hits. As rock royalty goes, they have suitably expanded the musician on stage so they musically success playing a full sounds only doable in the studio 40 plus years back. Despite Roger and Pete being the only surviving of the four, they find that perfect middle path between now and then. The Quadrophinea tours of 1994/95 and 2011/12 were by far my favorites."

"Even at about 70 years old, The Who put on a tremendous show. The energy in the place was absolutely electric. From the first Pete Townshend ""Windmill"" (Which he did over 80 of throughout the show) all the way to the final note from Daltrey (which, for us, was ""The Scream"" from Won't Get Fooled Again... Which he NAILED!!!) you couldn't have gotten more excitement out of the place. Sure, Daltrey can't hit every note like he used to, but his passion is still as strong as ever and he gives it everything he has, as does Pete. Overall, it was the best concert I've ever attended, and I've attended quite a few. I've never seen The Who before, but watched concert footage from them in the 70's and this was not a disappointment... in fact, it may have been even better than when they visited Houston in 1975 when I compare it to the footage on YouTube. I'd highly recommend this concert to anyone who enjoys good Rock & Roll or has even heard of The Who, as you'll be like me and think afterwards, ""Wow, I only had to pay that much to see that good of a show?! Totally worth it!"""

"The Who at Manchester Arena 5 April 2017 Support: The Standard Lamps. What. A. Night. Totally fantastic - actually, words really don't have any meaning - especially when it comes to ""Love Reign O'er Me"". Roger has said that he's started to sing songs as if it's the last time he will ever sing them, and it shows. John Correy seems to have a similar attitude to playing the keyboard introduction. It was pure magic. The Who really were wonderful. I really hope I DO see them again - I need another fix - but if it never happens again (gawd forbid) I will forever treasure tonight. Yes, the sound was a bit 'muddy' but that's stadia for you. It was a shame because I didn't catch much of the banter. The guys are obviously enjoying themselves... They did quite a chunk of ""Tommy"", including ""Christmas"" and ""The Acid Queen"", which was a rare treat. The energy was definitely up and the crowd, although not completely full, was big. If you do get the chance, go. Don't let anyone tell you they're ""past it"". Roger and Pete may be in their 70s, but they rock as hard as guys half that."

"Well, what can you say about a group that are only 50% of the original line up who still manage to rock a joint even after 40 years? They were FANTASTIC! A surprise warm up performance from Noel Gallagher ( incidentally, the only acoustic performance of the night.) doing a couple of High Flying Birds numbers and then teasing the audience with fake intros to Wonderwall and segueing into another track, finishing up with a rousing Don't Look Back In Anger. Then it was time for the big boys. Pete made a polite mea culpa explaining that there just really wasn't time to get the acoustic show to a level or loud enough to rock this gaff ""So I bought this old red thing with me!"" Well, with that he transformed into a teenager and rocked the gaff! Roger was rejuvenated as well, demolishing tambourines and testing the cable of his microphone to the limit hurling his mike around. His voice still with that brilliant growl pulling the tableau that is Tommy together. Simon, Pete's brother and Zack Starkey played their parts admirably supplying character voices and playing guitar and drums like they had always been band members. There's only so many tracks on the Tommy album but there was no way that they were going to end the night there and went into what can only be described as a brilliant rendition of all the intros to every CSI detective show climaxing with ""We Won't Get Fooled Again"". There is only one person who could finish a gig that good with by introducing the whole band with the phrase ""You were all crap!"" and that's Pete. Did they fall below his exacting standards? We'll never know, but in my opinion they were brilliant and roll on Saturday for round two! A great gig for an even greater charity - Teenage Cancer Trust and all that they help as Roger finishes every gig BE LUCKY! "

The Who still has the Power to put on a really great Show. The mixture of old ones we haven't heard in a while, and some great Tommy & Quadrophena hits. What a great Show, except no encore in San Diego, quite a disappointment.

Not many music groups have been around 50 years, and The Who sounded just as good as if they were celebrating their 25th year. Roger's voice was amazing and despite Pete fighting a cold, he was sounded good. But what a great show and it was worth the wait to see them since I had tickets from a year ago to see them.

It was awesome they did a picture recap of all the shows they had played in Portland. They played so many of there old popular songs and some great new material! This was the first time I had seen them so I can't compare to younger selves and they had more energy and put more into it than many younger bands.So grateful I got chance to see them!

This is "The WHO Hits 50" tour, for their 50th year as a band. This concert (Oakland, CA, 5/19) was as if they assembled their 50 top hits (more like 40)!! Nearly all the favorites I could think of, across their many years of music. Best of Tommy & Quadrophenia. Roger & Pete's voices were in great tune. It was Roger's 71st birthday and he was in great (talkative) spirits. He did a number of impromptu riffs and his classic wind-up strum at least 100 times. The band included 5? other incredibly talented fellows. Just about 2 hours of non-stop awesomeness. I first saw them in 1976 (Winterland, S.F.) and it's incredible they are cranking like it hasn't been 40 years ... except for having a lot more classics. I'm done paying $500 for wonderful bands like Stones, etc. Thanks to The Who, who can still be world class and not gouge their fans, including giving profit from sale of special CD's to worthy charities. Long live Rock!

Great to see The Who still on such top form! Excerpts from Tommy and Quadrophenia were superb, and their other hits just kept coming! Sound and visuals all excellent, especially the graphics projected onto the enormous main screen!Come back soon guys, 2 hours was not enough!🎸😃😉👍🎤

Glad I went. They opened with the first 5 songs from Tommy: Overture, Its a Boy, 1921, Amazing Journey and Sparks. Then they played Pinball Wizard, Welcome, We’re not gonna take it, Listening to You/See me Feel Me. Then Who Are You, Join Together, Substitute, Imagine A Man, Eminence Front, You Better You Better You Bet, Won’t Get Fooled Again, a song off the new album, Can You See the Real Me, I’m the One (Townshend solo on acoustic guitar), The Punk and the Godfather, 5:15, Quadrophenia, Love Reign o’er Me ( Roger home run) and Baba O’Riley. It was a huge audience.

Both Daltrey and Townsend were in top form. Townsend still plays with the anger of a young man and Roger, though is voice is showing its age, could still let loose with the triumphant scream at the climax of “Won’t get fooled again”. They were accompanied by a full orchestra. They opened with a suite of songs from Tommy, segued into a series of hits from other albums, then settled into songs from Quadrophenia. Not just a great show “for their age” but a great show in its own right.

I've seen them every tour since the early 70s and they, may not be jumping all around the stage anymore, but they are STILL ROCKING! This show was as good! if not better then some of the other shows! Awesome, epic show!! Just like yesterday, I get on my knees and pray...we wont get fooled again! Seen them almost every tour since Moonie fell off the stage...twice... at the Cow Palace Waiting for the new CD to come out, all in all great venue, great concert, hats off to The Who, they turned out a powerful performance...I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth...Substitute was epic as was Eminence Front, its a put on! Truly one in a lifetime show, said that he last time I saw them!

I've seen The Who about half a dozen times in the past 35 years. I think the energy level and enthusiasm of the band was highest at this show, which is surprising because I thought they'd have retired from touring by now. The band itself was really tight and sounded great. The orchestra was a bit more muddled, but for some songs (especially songs from Tommy and the instrumental The Rock from Quadrophenia) they added a lot. Sound quality at Chase Center is adequate, a bit more echo than I'd like. The venue is otherwise great, state-of-the-art.

Amazing evening !!! Began with a short but enjoyable set by Liam Gallager formerly. of Oasis. THEN 2 1/2 hours of THE WHO with a large orchestra. Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey were in fine form. From sets of TOMMY and QUADREPHENIA to many of their hits the NIGHT was INCREDIBLE !!! Was wonderful to hear them LIVE one last time. Thanks guys for decades of some of the BEST MUSIC in ROCK.

Excellent staff and great venue. Sound was great . Far too much foot traffic and - people in and out if aisles, up and down stairs etc. It was relentless though nothing you can control I imagine. Also, please let us keep water bottle caps. They cost $5 and before you know it your bottle gets kicked over from all the foot traffic. Cup holders on back of seats would be amazing! Thank you!

Roger sounded great and Pete hasn't lost a beat. They don't look like seniors shuffling around the stage (like some other old bands). Quite a number of the songs played were less commercially successful so if you're not a big Who fan or aren't familiar with albums like Tommy, it might not be quite as appealing. But it did not disappoint this big Who fan. Awesome.

From Liam, opening for the WHO, to Eddie Vedder's surprise duet with Roger... this certainly was a superb concert. Daltrey and Townsend - backed by a full orchestra of strings, percussion and brass - put on an excellent performance. At 74 & 75 years of age, these two rock legends still have "it". Special mention to Zack Starkey on drums (son of Ringo Starr) Four stars because, although they were promoting their new album, I wish they had played more of their original hits.

it was 12 years since my last Who experience and this, being number seven, did not disappoint. Roger's voice was still strong and Pete was relentless shredding the fret board. The orchestra added a rich and full accompaniment that really kicked in with "Who Are You", "Baba O'Riley" and "Love Reign O'er Me". Katie Jacoby (first violin) was outstanding! Can't wait for concert #8!

Saw them Friday and Sunday night. Friday air quality was bad and effected Roger's voice. Sunday's concert was one of the best I've ever seen the Who perform. Tight fingering, intense drums, such drive in the vocals! I could see one of their concerts once a week! Their energy gives me a kick for the following weeks. Hollywood Bowl topography sucks, but, you can't change that! Go see them Oct. 24!!

Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend were amazing! Daltry’s singing ability is better than ever. I had seen him before and he couldn’t really sing that well. He really put the work in. Townsend’s playing was a prolific as ever. The Bowl was a fantastic place to see them with their awesome acoustics and the jumbo tron made it easy to see them. And it was a beautiful warm night.

It was a perfect night for the Hollywood Bowl. A super hot day and then at the Bowl it was nice and warm ... a stark contrast to how cold it often gets tehere. Beautiful setting. 1 1/2 miles from Hollywood Boulevard, amidts trees, facing mountains and WHAT A SHOW. The opening act was great. - This hardly ever happens. And the Who put on a show that was truly memorable. Great acoustics at the Bowl and a super light show. Pete talked a lot, Roger not so much and the musk was ... well, great as awlays. I hope they come back and play Tommy at the Hollywood Bowl. It seems like they might because the first 20 minutes were a Tommy medley.

Great place for a rock concert. The Who used a orchestra for many songs from Tommy and others which worked flawlessly. They then did there 4 man band songs that were great. Pete was fast on the frets and really played with passion. Roger still could sing great and Ringo's son played great drums. Pete's brother was also great. If you never got to see them live, they haven't lost a beat.

the hollywood bowl is the best venue hands down. The Who's performance was great, Roger still can handle the vocals and where he can't they've rearranged the songs and it still sounds great. Pete is excellent. sometimes the windmill looks forced, but its still awesome. the orchestra made the tommy set really come alive.

The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite Venue to enjoy Concerts ~ Recently, I saw The Who twice in 2019. It has the greatest Acoustics, Atmosphere, and Customer Service especially for Handicapped Folks like myself. We experienced absolute Five Star treatment from Parking, First Aid, Food & Beverage, and Entertainment! Happy The Who chose the Hollywood Bowl for their performance! Must say, it was the BEST Concert ever!!!

I have been to many great concerts in my life and The Who never fails to be the best concerts I have ever been to. Pete and Roger are still amazing and the rest of the band is solid. The addition of an orchestra worked very well! I hoe that I will be as young as Pete and Roger when I am as old as they are!

Caught the final date of the 3-show HW Bowl gig for this truly iconic band. Think Roger and Company gave something extra. Great sound, lighting and ambiance. As always, the HW Bowl is such a treat. Perfect historic backdrop to see one of the greatest rock bands of all time! Weather was perfect; the sound was perfect; the audience was perfect! Backed by a full orchestra and Zac Starkey (Ringo Starr's son) on drums made the event super special. Daltrey gave his trademark swing of the mic, and Townshend didn't disappoint, giving us his signature windmill guitar moves! Loved every minute of it!

Very enjoyable trip down memory lane. They had a good set list that spanned their history. The run they did on Tommy with the orchestra was very good. Did not like the arrangement on Behind Blue Eyes (very messy, didn't come together). Roger's voice was terrific and Pete's guitar skills were top notch, not bad for a couple of old dudes!

Spectacular show. Pete Townshend was at his best; Roger Daltrey's voice was still alive, despite rumors to the contrary. The orchestra backing them up really brought their music to life.

Obviously there’s the fact that we have Daltrey back singing “Quadrophenia” again, or a healthy chunk of it, as the show’s climax, along with the even healthier chunk of “Tommy” that begins in, and many one-offs in-between. (Replacing him on “Classic Quadrophenia” with an operatic musical theater tenor was like replacing a blunt instrument with a Stradivarius: inadvisable.) Just as importantly, maybe, the arrangements for the tour were done by a name you can trust, David Campbell (aka Beck’s dad, by any other name), who has not been known to fail when it comes to the sensitive task of writing orchestration that makes its presence known in exciting ways but never suffocates a rock spirit. There was never any doubt Thursday that this was a Who show first and a Who + Symphony concert secondarily, with deeper layers your ear could focus on or probably just as easily tune out, if you find flutes offensive. And when you’ve got a seven-piece rock ensemble competing with a 42-piece orchestra, sometimes, everybody wins.
